We provided construction services for two six-story office buildings atop a common parking structure and support facilities, modeling the project in Revit, AutoCAD MEP 3D and Navisworks.
In support of the natural-light design and LEED milestones, Cochran installed one of the largest Lutron Quantum/ECO lighting control systems in the US. It supports dimming nearly all light fixtures in the facility and includes day-lighting control, scene setting, motion sensing, and energy monitoring.
Our communication services included the installation of over 5,000 CAT6 communication outlets and over 40 IDFs. The backbone cabling connected the IDFs to a large data center housing 70 custom cabinets and 44 custom two-post racks.
We designed and built a DAS system producing 100% building coverage, including parking garages and several underground levels. The system was engineered to carry signal from any carrier, including the emergency 800mHz band.
Security scope included installation of access control, intrusion detection, video surveillance, intercom, and analytics. We also provided security system integration and controls for the retractable bollard and wedge barriers that restrict vehicle access on campus.
