At Portland's Hyatt Regency Convention Center, we implemented comprehensive technology solutions to support both current operations and future capabilities. Our work began by creating conduit pathways to support integrated systems while allowing for future modifications. We installed copper and fiber backbones throughout the facility, along with telecommunications rooms for reliable operation. The project included distributed antenna systems for cellular and public safety coverage, as well as Category 6 cabling for advanced IP-based services, including digital signage and IPTV. We also developed a security command center to monitor access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection, integrating with fire systems and area of rescue communications. Features like ADA doorbell systems and background music enhance the facility’s accessibility and atmosphere.
