Cochran provided construction services for the new Seattle Central Library. The 11-story, 412,000 square foot building included below-grade parking for approximately 200 cars. The structure was encased entirely in glass, reflecting the architect's unique vision and also service a double purpose by contributing to the energy efficiency of the the buidling. The Seattle Central Library is registered with the U.S. Green Building Council Green Building Rating System.
