Portfolio: MultiCare Milgard Pavilion

Cochran installed a Distributed Antenna System (DAS) for the Milgard Pavilion at MultiCare’s main campus in Tacoma, WA. The four-story building houses a chapel, cancer center and an extension of the not-for-profit organization’s emergency department. In three months – one-third the normal time– Cochran activated two engineering teams to design and install an expanded DAS system that integrates with a variety of wireless services. Cochran also created customized hardware to block out intense frequencies of a neighboring building’s antenna, and to enable cell phones, pagers and two-way radios within the building to function without interference.
