Cruise ship and ocean transport operators, together with their ports of call, need cost-saving and environmentally sound alternatives to idling diesel engines as a source of power while in port. Cochran, the leading provider of shore power solutions, has developed a standard based on its patent-pending technology. For operators and port authorities, this standard is a proven means of electrically powering vessels.

International Shore Power

Cochran recently teamed up with Eaton Corp. to convert Cochran's 60 Hertz (Hz) Shore Power solution to support the global 50Hz market, which will allow our team to install turn-key marine shore power at cruise ship terminals around the world.
