Gilda's Club Seattle
Cochran is honored to have provided the electrical wiring for the renovation of the new Noogieland Recreation Room at Gilda's Club in Seattle. Noogieland provides a special place for children and teens who are dealing with cancer to come together for learning, support and fun activities.
Gilda's Club is a free cancer support organization, offering a place where men, women and children living with cancer, along with their families, can join with others to build social and emotional support in addition to cancer treatments. South Cle Elum Railroad Depot Restoration
Cochran employees volunteered their time and efforts towards the restoration of the South Cle Elum Railroad Depot project, which began in 1999. Last used as a functioning rail stop in 1980, the depot was acquired from Burlington Northern Railway by the Washington State Parks Commission and became a part of the Iron Horse State Park. In 1999, the "Friends of South Cle Elum Depot" was formed to spearhead the restoration and rehabilitation of the depot, now classified as a "Heritage Area" and eligible for the National Register of Historic Places. The restoration has relied on the financial, material, and labor contributions of numerous generous individuals and corporations. Recognizing the importance of preserving our history and heritage for the generations to come, we are proud to have played a part in the restoration of the South Cle Elum Depot.
Harry A. Moore Field
Cochran employees volunteered their time and expertise to provide the electrical design and installation for the concession/office building and baseball field at the Harry A. Moore Field in Lynndale Park, Lynnwood. Materials were donated by Cochran vendors. The field is home to the Pacific Little League Baseball program.
