Cochran is proud to be participating in the Cascade Bicycle Club's Bike to Work Month challenge. Cochran's "Electrify Your Ride" team has committed to riding their bikes to work at least 5 times during May to help draw awareness to bicycles as a transportation alternative and the need for improved facilities and cycling environments to get more people biking more often. May 27, 2008 (Seattle, WA) – Cochran, Inc. is pleased to announce that the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) and the ASTRA Women's Business Alliance has now certified Cochran, Inc. as a Women's Business Enterprise (WBE) as of May 20, 2008. This national certification verifies that Cochran is a women-owned organization and meets the strict WBENC requirements for certification.
On the evening of May 30th, members of the Cochran team were presented with the Safety Subcontractor of the Year for 2006 at Sellens Annual Corporate Meeting.
